Why host a Meet the Candidates Night?

An effective way to engage your community and demonstrate your PTA’s value is to host a candidates’ forum. Meet the Candidates Nights provide each candidate an equal opportunity to answer questions about their public education views. These events help voters cast ballots based on informed decisions by giving them a chance to become familiar with the individuals running for their School Board.

Nassau Region can help! Nassau Region PTA Board members are available to serve as moderators and timekeepers for contested elections. Complete a request for a moderator today!
